Super Jet Brunette has always been about mentorship, leadership, and helping people grow.

For years Mickey Perez has quietly mentored engineers, mechanics, kids, veterans and professionals navigating their careers and leadership challenges. Many of those conversations changed someone’s direction, confidence, or future.

Many have come to her with basic and complex questions:

• How do I communicate when everything feels stuck?
• How do I grow in my career?

Those conversations have helped aviators,veterans, engineers, mechanics, and young professionals find their confidence and move forward.

Now Mickey is pursuing formal leadership training through the Maxwell Leadership program and DISC certification so she can expand that work and help even more people.

For more than a decade, Mickey Perez worked in complex manufacturing and aerospace environments where teamwork, communication, and leadership mattered every day.

Along the way, something else became just as important, Mentorship!

Colleagues, mechanics, engineers, and young professionals often came to Mickey for advice, guidance, or simply someone who would be honest with them when they were trying to figure out their next move.

Many of those conversations helped people gain confidence, navigate career changes, or see their own potential more clearly.

That same drive has also shown up in Mickey’s entrepreneurial spirit. She started her first business at 17 and has continued building and learning ever since. Over the years she has launched and managed ventures across several industries including real estate investment, financial strategy, e-commerce, IT services, and nonprofit leadership.

In these experiences she developed something that matters just as much as technical expertise: the ability to build systems, solve problems, and help people move forward.

Through Super Jet Brunette, she has also supported robotics programs, aviation outreach, and mentorship efforts designed to help the next generation discover opportunities in aviation, engineering, manufacturing, and technology.

This next chapter simply adds stronger leadership and communication tools to continue doing that work.

Over the years Mickey noticed something simple but important. Many of the problems that show up in teams and organizations are not caused by bad people or bad intentions. They usually come from people not understanding how each other think and communicate.

Some people are very direct. Others need time to process information before responding. Some lead with relationships and conversation, while others focus on data and structure. When those styles collide, even good teams can struggle.
