Super Jet Brunette Challenge Coin FAQs

What are these Super Jet Brunette Challenge Coins all about?

These challenge coins are created by our Founder / President Mickey Perez in hopes to inspire others. Mickey began by giving her 1st annual 2020 challenge coins out to kids and adults.

After attending some aviation events Mickey began trading them at airshows and expanded to others while she was on her adventures at Star Wars canyon.

What do you hope to achieve by trading SUper Jet Brunette Challenge Coins?

When this non profit was started our founder had a vision to change one life a year. Starting Super Jet Brunette has opened up the opportunity to change many lives every year.

Together we hope to create a massive network of people in the T.E.A.A.M.S. field to help motivate, inspire and mentor the next generation of T.E.A.A.M.S. professionals.

What do you do with the trade items?

Not all coins are "traded" as some coins are given as gifts.

For the traded coins, depending on the type of trade determines the outcome of the traded items. Some trades are tangible and some are intangible items.

The hope is that the tangible trade items will yield high amounts of donations.

    Why do you do this?

The purpose of the trades are to help bring in donations for our non profit.

The plan is to take the trades we receive, along with the photo of the person with the trade, and raffle these items off.  The funds will go towards our efforts of supporting the funding in educating others. We are hoping to keep traded items solely for scholarship money and other donations could go to scholarships and costs associated with events, coins, and operating costs.

No one on our team receives a paycheck and all costs we currently incur, including all our website costs, has been funded by our President / Founder Mickey Perez.

Where do these challenge coins come from?

Our Super Jet Brunette coins are designed and purchased by our Founder/President Mickey Perez. Each coin's design has a story behind it which makes it unique every year.

How do you decide who gets a coin?

As Mickey, AKA Super Jet Brunette, encounters folks that either inspire her or that she wishes to inspire, she offers them an option to trade with her.

Sometimes Mickey encounters people who just give her something for free with no solicitation and they may be lucky enough to get a coin for their kindness.

In addition, she has been known to leave coins in special locations for folks who visit special places to find them! (We think there are some at the top of Star Wars canyon!)

How many do you make every year?

Mickey currently only makes 300 challenge coins annually. In the future these will be numbered. Our Super Jet Brunette challenge coins are not yet numbered as there is a significant additional cost for these limited edition coins.

What are some examples of intangible items traded for coins?

Intangible trades are services, and consumables.

How can i make a donation?

No donation is too small for our nonprofit, we not just seeking monetary donations, we are also seeking professional services and items . See our donations page for more information!

    Donations page

    Can i buy a coin?

We have been asked this question many times and have not been able to come to a consensus as to whether or not we should sell these coins. Currently, these challenge coins are a special gift for those that trade or come in contact with Mickey.

We have been working on a different coin for special donators to our small non profit organization. If you have suggestions or would like to make a donation towards getting one of  these special donator coins please contact us and we will be happy to discuss.

Do i have to be a pilot or someone in the spotlight to get an option to trade with you?

Absolutely not! Mickey loves to inspire others and will trade with almost anyone. If you are interested in trading please be sure to reach out to her directly through our website or through one of her social media outlets.
